Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom Salary: £39,640 Contract period: Permanent Start date: As soon as possible Fauna & Flora is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to cover a range of tasks including supporting the Financial Controller, overseeing management of staff expenses, overseeing treasury activities, playing a key role in preparing global payroll and supporting the timely and accurate production of management account information. This role also has a strong emphasis on developing and maintaining a range of financial training resources aimed at Fauna & Flora staff. The role will suit an individual who is looking for exposure in a number of different areas of finance in a multi-currency, global organisation. You will be CCAB qualified or part qualified and actively studying, have a good technical understanding of current UK GAAP and FRS 102, together with proven management reporting experience (up to balance sheet reconciliation), experience in payroll and exposure to HMRC employee expenses and benefits regulations. As a member of the UK-based Finance Team, your strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer focus will enable you to build effective working relationships at all levels across the organisation. You will enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where the ability to manage a variety of concurrent tasks is paramount. You will be comfortable researching technical financial guidance and documenting findings.
