Job Summary
The BIM Modeller produces and coordinates 2D and 3D shop drawings for BIM submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality 2D and 3D shop drawings for BIM submission with minimal supervision
- Submit shop drawings on time, ensuring accuracy and clear presentation
- Enforce strict compliance with system standards on all shop drawings
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Identify and report deviations from original design intent to supervisors promptly
- Sketch, build, and generate schematics using in-house software to support design accuracy
- Coordinate and verify drawings with Architectural, Structural, and Mechanical trades in 2D and 3D for BIM submission
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members to ensure project alignment
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit 3D modelling software
- Minimum 2 years of drafting experience in Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, or Mechanical trades
- Possess a Degree, Diploma, or Technical Certificate in Architecture, Mechanical, Civil, Building, or equivalent
