Your tasks

• Perform physical and technical tasks involving data servers, IT equipment, cables and network components.
• Assist technicians with the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of servers, network equipment and cabling.
• Move, install and rack equipment according to operational requirements.
• Assist with server repairs, including replacing faulty hard drives, RAM sticks and other components.
• Use hardware and software tools to support technical operations.
• Perform equipment checks and assist with maintenance activities.
• Follow technical procedures and safety guidelines.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Nitec or an IT-related certificate is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of IT equipment, hardware or software.
• Willing to learn and undergo on-the-job training.
• Comfortable handling and moving IT equipment.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Responsible, hands-on and willing to work in a technical environment.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern Training Period – Until 2 November

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm ($13/hr)
• No shift allowance during training hours

Rotating Shift Schedule – Monday to Sunday

• 2 days morning shift: 8:30am – 6:00pm
• 2 days afternoon shift: 3:00pm – 12:30am ($13/hr + $30 shift allowance)
• 2 days off
• The 6-day shift cycle repeats continuously.

Note: Shared taxi arrangements with colleagues may be required after the afternoon shift, where necessary.
