Your tasks

We’re looking for a Qualified Accounts Senior who knows their numbers, enjoys getting under the skin of complex accounts work and is ready to play a pivotal role within a growing practice.

Sitting just below Partnership level, you’ll be a key link between the Partners and the wider accounts team — combining hands-on technical delivery with a more senior, commercially focused approach. You’ll help turn the Partners’ vision into action, support and guide more transactional colleagues, and ensure clients receive the quality of service they expect.

The bottom line This is more than a traditional Accounts Senior role. It’s an opportunity for a qualified accountant who is ready to step beyond the day-to-day, influence how a team operates and become a trusted right hand to the Partners.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• You’ll be a fully qualified accountant with a strong technical grounding in practice accounts preparation and the confidence to operate at a senior level.

You’ll bring

• A solid understanding of accounts preparation, accounting standards and technical compliance.
• The ability to review work, resolve technical issues and support less experienced team members.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with Partners and clients alike.
• A proactive, commercially aware approach, with the judgement to know when to take ownership and when to escalate.
• Audit experience would be a bonus, but it’s by no means essential. The right technical accounts background and attitude matter most.
