Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following recipe guidelines and safety standards Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to meet health and safety regulations Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery of dishes during busy service periods Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety management Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination during meal preparation and service Skills Strong knowledge of food safety standards in production environments Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating kitchen equipment Familiarity with knife skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff Knowledge of catering processes and restaurant experience is a plus Understanding of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid training Work Location: In person
