About our partner

For our client, an established industrial company in the field of system technology based in the Munich area, we are currently looking for an experienced Network Security Administrator (m/f/d) in permanent employment.

Tasks

• You ensure smooth and secure network operation at several locations
• You administer firewalls and other security-relevant systems
• You develop new security strategies and implement legal requirements in a practical manner
• You actively participate in the selection of new network components
• You take over the commissioning and administration of the LAN and WLAN infrastructure
• You are a competent contact person for security and network technology
• You analyze and resolve malfunctions during ongoing operations

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable training
• Initial to several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Sound knowledge of network technology and TCP/IP
• Experience with systems such as HPE Aruba, Genua, Barracuda, or Cisco is an advantage
• Certifications in the network area are desirable
• Experience in remote support as well as a structured, analytical way of working
• Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and goal orientation
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
