Job description

Roles & responsibilities

Monitor drilling operations and maintain continuous records of drilling parameters

Collect, analyze, and interpret drilling mud and cuttings samples

Identify lithology, formation changes, and hydrocarbon shows during drilling

Record gas levels and other geological data and report findings to the drilling and geoscience team

Prepare daily drilling and mud logging reports accurately and on time

Ensure all equipment used for mud logging is calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly

Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and drilling supervisors to optimize drilling performance

Follow company HSE policies and ensure safe field operations

Maintain proper documentation and logs for regulatory compliance
