Technical Buyer (m/f/d) (Buyer)

your mission

• further expand the technical competence in purchasing
• work closely with the technical development departments – from the product idea to series production readiness
• increase value creation through value analyses, standardized part strategies, and the optimization of manufacturing costs
• strengthen cooperation with our national and international suppliers through technical expertise and partnership-based communication
• continuously optimize the processes in purchasing and supplier management
• ensure that required items are available on time, in the required quality, and at market-competitive conditions

your talent

• completed technical training (such as technical draftsman, turner/milling machine operator with further training as an industrial specialist, business administrator, industrial engineer) and/or further training as a technician (m/f/d)
• existing experience in the international purchasing of components for mechanical and plant engineering
• strong technical understanding, ideally in the area of turned/milled parts, sheet metal parts, or electrical assemblies (wire harnesses, cable boxes)
• strong negotiation skills and experience
• good, business-fluent English in spoken and written form
• very good MS-Office skills, especially Excel
• confident handling of ERP systems, ideally dynamics NAV
