Service Technician | Charging Infrastructure & Battery Systems

for a growing Belgian technology player within sustainable energy and electrical infrastructure, we are looking for a Service Technician. You will become a technical specialist in modern charging infrastructure and battery systems and take action when a malfunction cannot be resolved remotely.

You will receive a lot of freedom and variety: you will work at various customers spread across the country and combine troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning. Thanks to advanced training, you do not need to be a specialist in charging technology today. A strong electrical foundation and interest in new technology are more important.

What will your package of tasks look like?

• You analyze and resolve technical malfunctions on charging stations, (super)fast chargers, and battery systems at customer locations.
• You perform targeted troubleshooting and search for the technical cause when problems cannot be resolved remotely.
• You adjust settings and configurations of installations and ensure that systems function correctly and reliably again.
• You replace defective electrical and electronic components and subsequently check the correct operation of the installation.
• You perform preventive maintenance and detect possible technical problems before they lead to downtime or malfunctions.
• You assist in the startup and commissioning of new installations and check whether these function correctly.
• You are the technical point of contact on-site and combine your technical expertise with a professional and customer-oriented approach.
• You document your interventions in a structured manner and report technical findings, performed work, and any follow-up actions back to the service team.

What do we expect from you?

• You possess a technical diploma and have good practical knowledge of electricity.
• You are eager to learn and have an interest in charging infrastructure, battery technology, and the further electrification of energy and mobility.
• You are independent, problem-solving, and customer-oriented and communicate fluently; additionally, you can manage in French and/or English.
• You enjoy traveling to various customers spread across the country and possess a driving license B or BE.
