Senior HSE Manager

Are you an experienced professional in the field of occupational safety and health? In the region near Ieper, an exciting position as Senior HSE Manager is available within an international and growing organization. This role offers you the opportunity to strengthen the safety culture in the EMEA region through strategic leadership and operational involvement.

What will your package of tasks look like?

• Coaching and supporting managers with expert advice on WHS risk management, regulations, safety of contractors and employees, and solving complex safety issues.
• Setting up and maintaining consultation structures with EMEA safety teams for communication and alignment on strategic safety initiatives.
• Leading, monitoring, and reporting on proactive safety processes with a focus on risk management and injury prevention.
• Collaborating with the Global Safety team for audits, implementation of safety management systems, and safety programs.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of WHS policies and procedures in accordance with legal obligations and best practices.

What do we expect from you?

• Degree or recognized training in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Certification as Preventieadviseur Niveau I or currently in training, with good knowledge of Belgian and European legislation and sector best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and French, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
