Plant Manager - Young Potential

Do you possess strong analytical skills, the necessary drive, and the ambition to eventually grow into the key figure of an entire production site? For a prominent player in the Kortrijk region, we are looking for an ambitious, decisive Plant Manager (Young Potential).

What will your package of tasks look like?

• Analyze machine downtime and process disruptions to sustainably increase yield and efficiency (OEE). Implement Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, WCM) and translate KPI data into targeted improvement actions.
• Guide, coach, and support the supervisors on the floor (shift leaders and department heads). You stimulate ownership, clear communication, and talent development within a team of more than 70 employees.
• Ensure seamless alignment between production planning, quality assurance, and inventory flows to maximize lead times and output.
• Anchor a proactive safety culture (HSE) and, together with the Quality Department, take the lead in in-depth root-cause analyses.
• Monitor budgetary frameworks and production costs. You formulate tactical annual and quarterly goals and report the results directly to the Plant Director.

What do we expect from you?

• Master's degree (Industrial Engineer or equivalent) combined with 3 to 8 years of relevant leadership experience within an industrial or production environment.
• Problem solver with strong numerical insight. You tackle causes instead of symptoms and know how to bring people along in change through an approachable and clear style.
• Fluent professional proficiency in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is a clear asset.
