Maintenance Technician | 2 shifts

For an industrial production organization, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who will share responsibility for the technical reliability of the machine park, peripheral equipment, and infrastructure.

You will have a broad technical role in which breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and technical improvements alternate. You will work across the various departments of the organization and serve as an important point of contact for operators and supervisors when technical problems arise.

What will your package of tasks look like?

• You are the first technical point of contact for operators and department supervisors during breakdowns, failures, and technical problems.
• You analyze and resolve both mechanical and electrical faults and ensure that machines are operational again as quickly and safely as possible.
• You perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to the established maintenance schedule, thereby contributing to a reliable machine park.
• You support the commissioning of new machines and equipment and help ensure that new installations are put into use technically correctly.
• You supervise external parties during periodic technical inspections and follow up on the necessary technical actions.
• Together with the Proces Engineer, you keep the maintenance planning up to date and coordinate daily or weekly on priorities, interventions, and planned activities.
• You help manage the technical warehouse, place orders with suppliers, and ensure sufficient availability and an orderly organization of maintenance materials.
• You always work according to the applicable quality, safety, and environmental regulations and participate in the on-call service outside of normal working hours for urgent technical interventions.

What do we expect from you?

• You already have relevant experience within industrial maintenance and possess broad technical knowledge of both electricity and mechanics.
• You have knowledge of welding techniques and possess basic knowledge of industrial controls and automation, such as PLC's, encoders, and drives.
• You are practical, eager to learn, and flexible, work smoothly with standard computer programs, and are willing to participate in the technical on-call service.
• You possess basic knowledge of French and English and hold a forklift driver certificate.
