Maintenance Coordinator

Build upon the reliability and sustainability of a world-class production site in the East Flanders region. As Maintenance Team Lead, you will become the indispensable pivot figure who coaches the maintenance team and pushes the boundaries in terms of plant uptime and safety. You will be given a role with significant autonomy in which you make data-driven decisions, optimize processes, and keep assets in top condition within an international and scientifically driven enterprise.

What will your package of tasks look like?

• You organize and structure the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning for all assets on the site.
• You perform thorough analyses during complex breakdowns and implement structural measures to prevent recurrence.
• You coach the technicians and the facilities team, map out their training needs, and elevate the team to a higher performance level.
• You oversee the inventory management of spare parts and ensure an efficient and budget-conscious purchase of maintenance materials.
• You report the performance of the machine park to the plant management board and ensure the calibration of quality-critical equipment.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a higher technical degree (Bachelor/Master) or are equivalently qualified through at least 5 years of relevant supervisory maintenance experience.
• You are analytically very strong and able to smoothly interpret electrical diagrams, control circuits, and technical documentation.
• You have a passion for continuous improvement (LEAN/5S) and experience in managing based on KPIs within maintenance.
• You are communicatively skilled, stress-resistant, and work constructively with SHE, quality, and production departments.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, and enjoy working in an international context.
