EHS Manager Multisite

For an international production organization in the Westouter region, we are looking for a Health & Safety Manager. In this role, you will hold a strategic position within the safety policy and work on further strengthening the safety culture across different sites.

You will join a growing food environment where safety, professionalization, and collaboration are central. The position combines strategic leadership with operational involvement on the ground, where you support managers, further develop safety processes, and contribute to a supported Health & Safety approach within the organization.

What does your package of tasks look like?

• Strengthening the safety culture by combining strategic leadership with visible presence on the ground.
• Coaching and supporting managers regarding WHS risk management, regulations, contractors, employee safety, and complex safety issues.
• Setting up and maintaining consultation structures with safety teams to ensure communication, knowledge sharing, and alignment.
• Leading, monitoring, and reporting on proactive safety processes with a focus on risk management and injury prevention.
• Working closely with the broader safety team regarding audits, safety management systems, and company-wide safety programs.
• Contributing to the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of WHS policy and procedures.
• Ensuring that safety initiatives align with legal obligations, internal standards, and best practices within the sector.

What do we expect from you?

• You possess a diploma or recognized training in occupational safety and health, supplemented by a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• You possess the Preventieadviseur Niveau 1 certificate or are currently in training for this, with strong knowledge of Belgian welfare legislation and European directives.
• You communicate fluently in French and English and know how to influence stakeholders at different levels and involve them in the safety story.
