• Conception, development, and operation of scalable data architectures such as Data Lakes and Data Warehouses

• Modeling of data structures as well as selection of suitable database and storage technologies

• Development and continuous optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines for the integration of various data sources

• Ensuring high data quality through validation, cleaning, standardization, and automation of data processes

• Connection of machines, sensors, and IoT devices to central data systems as well as the construction of high-performance data streams

• Monitoring and optimization of databases and Data Pipelines as well as analysis and resolution of performance and data flow problems

• Implementation of Data Governance, data protection, and security standards as well as documentation of relevant data processes

• Collaboration with internal departments to implement data requirements as well as evaluation of new technologies and Cloud Services

What convinces us...

• Completed technical or commercial training with an IT focus (Apprenticeship, HTL, FH, or University) as well as professional experience in the Data Engineering environment

• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases as well as experience with ETL/ELT processes, Cloud technologies, and modern development tools

• Experience in connecting machines and IoT systems as well as with corresponding communication protocols

• Ideally knowledge in the SAP environment

• Good English skills

• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working as well as enjoyment of collaborating with different departments
