Import Intern

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Import Intern for a central role in the company's import and logistics team. The role includes full responsibility for managing import processes from end to end, working with suppliers abroad and internal organizational entities, while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and budgetary control.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all stages of the import process – from the ordering stage until the goods arrive at the destination
• Opening, managing, and closing import files
• Routine work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping entities (air and sea)
• Monitoring and controlling customs clearance processes
• Controlling import costs and producing relevant reports
• Routine communication with international suppliers in English
• Executing payments and financial coordination with foreign suppliers
• Working in ERP systems and in a multi-interface work environment
• Two years of experience or more in a similar role in the import field - Mandatory
• Previous experience in the fashion / retail worlds - Significant advantage
• Experience working with suppliers and international entities - Mandatory
• Full proficiency in Excel (including formulas) - Mandatory
• English at a very good level (speaking, writing, and reading) - Mandatory
• Experience with an organizational ERP system - Advantage
• Order, accuracy, ability to work independently, and ability to work under pressure
