Broadcast Engineer

Responsibilities:

Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot broadcast equipment and systems. Ensure the reliable operation of studio, transmission, audio, video and other broadcast equipment. Liaise with relevant vendors and service providers on equipment repairs, servicing and technical support. Ensure compliance with applicable technical, electrical and broadcast safety standards. Provide technical support during live broadcasts, programmes and special productions. Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks on broadcast equipment. Monitor broadcast systems to minimise downtime and ensure uninterrupted transmission.

Requirements:

HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any other related field. Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in Engineering role. Knowledge of modern broadcast equipment and systems is an added advantage. Strong ICT and electronics/electrical skills. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. Goal-driven, result-oriented and innovative.
