About this position In your role as a technician in the field of Engineering, you will actively shape the development and optimization of technical solutions. With your know-how, you will drive existing or innovative new processes forward and ensure that the highest quality standards are achieved. You will work hand in hand with interdisciplinary teams to master technical challenges. Your contribution is crucial to successfully implementing projects and ensuring the continuous further development of products and technologies.

Your tasks

• Development and design (3D & 2D) of production-ready tools & fixtures for the manufacture of composite components, taking into account cost, schedule, customer, and aviation requirements
• Technical support of the entire PLM process to ensure tool- and production-ready component design and manufacturing
• Coordination of the tool design process as well as supplier support during tool manufacturing
• Independent coordination of work packages and coordination with specialist departments
• Support of production in first-article manufacturing until series maturity is achieved and optimization of manufacturing processes
• Creation and optimization of ply layouts and laser files with the support of special CAM software for the manual layup of prepreg layers
• Activities in the area of production planning, such as the creation of work plans & work instructions

Your profile

• Good English and MS Office skills
• CAD knowledge required
• CATIA knowledge desired
• Sound technical education (Werksmeister, HTL, FH, Uni) in the field of mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, materials science, or comparable
• Advantageous: ERP knowledge (SAP, etc.); professional experience in the technical field and project management as well as a hands-on mentality

Your annual salary is based on your previous professional experience and your education and is between € 43,000.- and € 56,000.- gross p.a. on a full-time basis. In the event of significant overfulfillment of the requirements, we can adjust this framework individually.
