SMT Engineering Manager - Pathumthani

•Exercises control and coordinates activities of the department on matters that pertains to SMT process and production issues. Conducts daily meeting (KPI Focus) with Engineers, Supervisors, and Planners. •Initiates and execute strategy in SMT operations: machine shot efficiency and optimization, first pass yield. Cascade-up the same strategy to Director/GM for results tracking. •Represents the Department and participates in meetings and discussions with other section on matter whose scope affects the SMT, Quality, Delivery and company as a whole. •Spearheads investigation, analysis and formulation of countermeasures on customer feedback, machine problems and quality issues; track results and gauge its effectiveness. •Advise customer on technical details, merits and problems of various existing and upcoming designs. Works closely with customer during their visit •Analyze operational requirement and decompose then into functional and demonstrable requirements. •Directs and motivates engineers to make sure that they are rendering acceptable performance. Develops plan for Engineer’s training and professional enlistment •Liaise with other department and personnel regarding accomplishment of set goals and KPI

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or higher. At least 12 years of working experience in EMS or related field is required for this position. Solid on new product tooling development, SMT is a plus. Professional in Problem Solving Analysis and good problematic solving skills. Systematic Thinking and process oriented. Knowledge on ESD Theory and Practical. Supervisory and Management skills. Understand lean and Six Sigma concept and able to apply in the area. Excellent command in written and spoken English.
