System Design Responsible (m/f/d) for Traffic Surveillance - Situational Awareness Systems (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

System Design Responsible (m/f/d) for Traffic Surveillance - Situational Awareness Systems Your tasks:

• Ensuring the system design for surveillance and situational awareness solutions - NH90
• Requirement Engineering (requirement management), system specification, and design
• Definition of the integration, verification, and validation strategy
• Support during test bench, ground, and flight tests of the respective system or functions
• Ensuring system qualification and certification at the helicopter level (H/C level)
• Ensuring project implementation in accordance with the overarching planning at the helicopter level
• Stakeholder management with the relevant actors throughout the entire company (e.g., suppliers, project and program management)
• Application of modern working methods and agile development methods, where applicable

Your qualifications:

• completed degree in engineering sciences at Bachelor or Master level, or an otherwise acquired equivalent qualification and professional experience
• at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of Design Engineer, Engineering, Research / Development, Product Development, technical documentation, and stakeholder management, preferably in the aerospace industry
• experience in system design, development, engineering, and/or integration of complex avionics systems
• knowledge in Systems Engineering, Requirement Engineering, and integration in the field of avionics
• previous experience with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe) is an advantage
• high IT affinity with standard tools such as Office, Google Suite, SAP
• business fluent English skills and basic knowledge of German / French, and Spanish skills are an advantage
