Senior Electronic System Engineer (m/w/d) Your tasks:

• Analysis of system requirements from customers, stakeholders, regulations, and standards.
• Development of a system solution for space applications that integrates electrical, electronic, software, and mechanical systems.
• Derivation of the system design as well as definition of interfaces.
• Technical leadership in bid preparation, creation of feasibility and system performance analyses.
• Identification of system costs with a focus on Design-to-Cost, OTD, OTC, OTQ.
• Creation of system specifications and concepts for the system design.
• Responsibility for development plans at the system level.
• Creation of technical risk assessments.
• Control of development partners including technical subcontractor management.
• Coordination of development activities across various departments and technical leadership of the project team.
• Continuous coordination with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, purchasing, project management, and stakeholders.
• Technical monitoring of budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordination of the cross-departmental creation of technical documentation.
• Coordination within the core project team (project management, manufacturing, quality) and conducting design reviews (e.g., CDR, TRR, IRR).

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in the conception of electronic/electrical systems in the field of cryogenic products or aerospace, as well as in leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Several years of experience in technical subcontractor management as well as in MBSE methods (e.g., SysML Capella) and system engineering standards (e.g., ECSS, INCOSE).
• Good organizational skills, solution-oriented agile working.
• Good ability to assess technical, economic, and scheduling matters.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, SAP.
