This position is oriented towards the long term and offers you entry via temporary employment (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung). Our client values your potential reinforcement and has already envisioned the possibility of a later permanent position.

Manufacturing Engineer (m/w/d) Your tasks:

• Responsibility for the interface function between Engineering and Manufacturing or Supply Chain in the product creation process
• Coordination of alignments with specialist departments such as Design, Arbeitsvorbereitung, Metrology, NC-Programmierung, Manufacturing Development, as well as Purchasing and Procurement Assurance
• Independent assurance of manufacturability and economical design (Design to Cost) during technical releases, feasibility studies, and improvement suggestions
• Processing of projects in the metal sector (Alu, Steel, Welding, Structural Assembly) such as Ariane 6 and new business (Diehl)
• Support with VBs and inspection drawings (CAD) with regard to Polygon-Anlage and Zimmermann
• Processing of offers in the metal sector, calculation of RCs and NRCs
• Support in the adaptation of internal processes
• Cross-functional responsibility for manufacturability and testability in new projects, both for internal manufacturing and the external supply chain
• Technical leadership function in development projects regarding the manufacturing process; corresponding coordination with Project Management and System Engineering
• Comparison and ensuring that all standards on the construction documents comply with existing or newly to be installed standards in the internal as well as the external Supply Chain
• Synchronization and ensuring the conformity of all standards on the construction documents with customer requirements

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies as Dipl.-Ing. (TU/FH) or Bachelor/Master in the field of Production Technology, Maschinenbau, Aerospace Engineering, or Meister (Techniker) with several years of professional experience or similar
• Very good knowledge in development and design, preferably of aerospace products, as well as in production technology
• Experience regarding manufacturing and testing technologies for the aerospace industry
• Very good knowledge in CAD (NX and Catia), PLM, and SAP
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Moderation and teamwork skills in cooperation with other departments
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
