*ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*

*Job Description*

Crane Operators are required to safely operate company 28 Ton, 40 Ton, and 70 Ton picker trucks.

*Responsibilities include:*

• Operate Crane - manipulate controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Maintain and repair crane as needed.

• Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily, weekly, monthly & yearly basis.
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.

• Complete contractor job sheets, log books, work orders and all other necessary paperwork.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.

• Drive picker and delivery trucks to work sites. Load and unload trucks when necessary.
• Follow directions carefully.

• Understands and follows all safety policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

*ACCOUNTABILITY & DECISION MAKING*

• Must will able to operate all crane equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Must adhere to all safety procedures

*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE*

Years of experience combined with education, designations or certifications.

• Must be registered with "BC Crane Safety".
• Must hold valid Crane Level Certification

• Valid Class 1 driver?s license and a clean drivers abstract is required.
• Equipment operation tickets is an asset (AWP, forklift, fall arrest etc.)

*SKILLS & COMPETENCIES*

• Ability to greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is preferred.

• Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds, and able to work on feet for long periods of time.
• Must be a team player

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
