For one of our internationally active customers in the south of Köln, we are looking for a Project Engineer Plant Engineering (m/f/d) for development projects (turbomachinery):

The tasks:

• As a Project Engineer (m/f/d), you are responsible for developing concepts for new product lines and their components. You coordinate all departments involved in the project and ensure compliance with the specified time and budget plans.
• You undertake the design, calculation, and detailed analysis of new components, systems, and assemblies. In doing so, you design the mechanical components to be used in compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.
• You are responsible for checking and creating technical specifications as well as for clarifying technical questions with customers.
• Furthermore, your area of responsibility includes concept development and the execution of design reviews and risk analyses.

The ideal profile:

• You have a successfully completed engineering degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering, preferably with a focus on turbomachinery, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, pumps, power and work machines, or you possess a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in a comparable development activity as well as CAD knowledge are an advantage.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills, as well as good English and project management skills, round off your profile.
• Willingness for occasional business trips is desired.
