For one of our internationally active customers from the chemical industry in Krefeld, we are looking for a Head of Process & Project Engineering (m/f/d).

The tasks:

• As Department Manager (m/f/d) Process & Project Engineering, you are responsible for the smooth project execution while complying with budget, time, and quality specifications. In doing so, you lead an interdisciplinary project team.
• You manage new, expansion, and conversion projects for chemical plant engineering. You coordinate the internal project planning interfaces and all departments involved in the project. In this position, you work closely with the site management, production, and external partners.
• You evaluate technical specifications, requirement specifications, and functional specifications. You are responsible for the selection, qualification, and management of plant suppliers and external partners.
• Finally, you have budget responsibility and resource planning for your department.

The ideal profile:

• You have a successfully completed engineering degree in the field of Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or possess a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience as a Project Manager in the planning and design of production plants in the fields of refineries, petrochemistry, chemical plant engineering, or plant engineering is an advantage.
• You possess knowledge in the design, optimization, and automation of process engineering plants using current project management methods.
• Leadership experience, very good communication and teamwork skills, as well as good English and project management skills, round off your profile.
