Balance Sheet Accountant (m/f/d) / Financial Accountant (m/f/d) (Financial Accountant)

For one of our international customers (a manufacturing company in the field of plastics technology with several thousand employees worldwide) in Wesseling, we are looking for a Balance Sheet Accountant (m/f/d) / Financial Accountant (m/f/d). For this position, two days of home office per week are possible.

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to US-GAAP & HGB.
• In doing so, you prepare trademark settlements and coordinate other intra-group recharges.
• You take care of intercompany reconciliation.
• Additionally, you prepare the e-balance sheets of all German companies in coordination with the tax department and the review and approval of payment runs.
• Furthermore, you prepare the VAT advance notification and the summary reporting.
• Further tasks include account reconciliations, preparation of data for transfer pricing documentation, and other accounting activities (answering questions from colleagues, cross-departmental communication with the tax department, Group Consolidation, Controlling, etc.).

Your profile:

• You have completed commercial training, preferably as an Industrial Clerk (Industriekaufmann/-frau), and additional training as a Balance Sheet Accountant/Financial Accountant (m/f/d).
• You possess relevant knowledge in the field of accounting and have good knowledge of an ERP system as well as MS-Office.
• Good written and spoken English skills and a structured and solution-oriented way of working round off your profile.
