Manage on-site execution of data centre projects, including: Module construction, Network deployment, Rack modification, Decommissioning, Ad-hoc cabling works
Coordinate with TPM and local operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standards.
Conduct IDC construction progress checks and provide timely updates and feedback to the TPM team.
Manage project delivery across data centre sites within the assigned geographical area.
Conduct preliminary site surveys and project assessments.
Coordinate logistics and equipment/material deliveries.
Manage on-site cabling, network integration and installation activities.
Monitor project progress, quality and overall delivery timelines.
Provide on-site engineering support during project implementation when required.
Oversee project implementation across multiple data centre sites within the assigned area.
Requirements
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience in data centre construction, project implementation or on-site data centre operations.
Experience in large-scale data centre environments will be an advantage.
Experience supporting Alibaba data centre projects will be an advantage.
Experience in project coordination or project management.
PMP or other relevant project management certification will be an advantage.
IT-related background preferred.
Knowledge of network architecture, servers, fibre optics and related infrastructure preferred.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin required for regular communication with Chinese-speaking regional project, technical and business stakeholders.
