Equipment Installer

Roles & Responsibilities Role Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician Position Type: Full-Time

Core responsibilities include: Reading and applying work orders, technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to complete assembly tasks correctly

Running tests on electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic and vacuum systems with the appropriate testing tools and fixtures

Building and fixing equipment at the unit, subassembly and component level

Diagnosing equipment faults and carrying out repairs to keep systems running

Verifying that incoming parts and materials are complete and meet quality requirements

Working hands-on with instruments such as measurement devices, vacuum pumps, leak detectors and test rigs

Logging work activity accurately, covering job status, test outcomes, data entry and labour hours

Helping out with light programming tasks like software installs and equipment fixes when needed

Operating with a good degree of independence, while mentoring junior colleagues as needed
