Your tasks

About the Role EYSA Language Center is looking for a committed English Tutor to teach regular, private, and trial classes. The role focuses on Speaking and Grammar and follows EYSA’s curriculum and teaching standards.

1. Teaching and Lesson Preparation
2. Conduct regular, private, and trial classes according to the assigned schedule
3. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based on EYSA’s curriculum and learning objectives, adapted to students’ levels and needs
4. Deliver engaging lessons that balance grammar instruction with speaking practice, using activities, games, discussions, and real-life situations
5. Create a supportive, interactive classroom where every student participates and speaks English confidently

Assessment and Administration

1. Mark exam papers, evaluate student performance, and record scores accurately in the grading system
2. Complete attendance records and academic reports on time
3. Follow EYSA’s SOPs, curriculum guidelines, and assessment procedures
4. Cover classes as a substitute tutor when assigned by the Head of Academic

Professional Development and Teamwork

1. Attend tutor meetings, upgrading sessions, and academic evaluations
2. Help develop teaching materials and compile a tutor’s handbook for EYSA
3. Contribute ideas to improve EYSA’s curriculum and programs
4. Support and mentor new tutors when required
5. Apply feedback from the Head of Academic and take part in EYSA events

Requirements

1. Willing and able to join EYSA’s training program
2. Able to work on-site at the EYSA office in Makassar
3. Strong command of English, with expertise in Speaking and Grammar
