Roles and responsibilities · Perform accurate refraction and eye examination to assess customers' vision requirements · Prescribe and dispense appropriate contact lens & spectacles based on examination results and customer needs · Edge ophthalmic lenses precisely to ensure optimal fit and comfort for customers · Deliver professional optometry & opticianry advices · Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers to enhance service experience · Collaborate with team members to maintain a responsible, motivated, and customer-focused retail environment · Commit to working retail hours including weekends and public holidays Required competencies and certifications · Qualification enabling application for practicing license with Singapore Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB) · Graduation from a Singapore-recognized or approved Optometry or Opticianry learning institute
