IT Workplace Technician / L2 Support (M/F)
THE ACCOMPANIED COMPANY AND THE MISSIONS
Externatic is recruiting on behalf of a large-scale international industrial group.
Integrated into the local DSI located North of Strasbourg, you will join a dynamic IT Infrastructure team. You will work in close collaboration with the Workplace Engineer to ensure service continuity for users of the French subsidiary, spread across 15 interconnected sites.
You are not in a Level 1 call center: you will operate on a large-scale hybrid fleet including more than 1200 workstations (PCs) and a thousand mobile devices (smartphones and tablets).
Your daily missions: At the heart of the reactor, you are an essential link to ensure that employees, particularly those in R&D and Production, can work under the best possible conditions. Your tasks revolve around:
- Level 2 Support: Taking charge of and resolving complex incidents via the ITSM tool ServiceNow, with physical on-site interventions or via remote control.
- Deployment & Security: Actively participating in software distribution and ensuring the application of security patches via Microsoft Intune and SCCM environments. (Security is the service's absolute priority).
- Lifecycle Management (Asset Management): Ensuring workstation installation, managing fleet renewals, performing imports into ServiceNow, and maintaining a rigorous inventory.
- International Dimension: Virtually joining the Group's "L2 Workplace Support" team to participate in global projects and write technical procedures.
PROFILE
- Training & Experience: Graduate of a Bac+2/Bac+3 degree in computer science (type BTS, DUT), you have a successful first experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar position (highly motivated junior profiles may be considered).
- Technical Skills: You have good practice with Windows environments and user support. Initial experience in deployment with Microsoft Intune (or SCCM) and knowledge of a ticketing tool (ideally ServiceNow) are expected.
- Languages: As the position requires reading technical documentation and occasionally interacting with Group teams, a professional level of English (B2 minimum) is required.
- Soft Skills: You possess a strong team spirit, a sense of customer service, and genuine intellectual curiosity. You know how to demonstrate pedagogy and rigor in your daily organization.
ADVANTAGES
- Location: North of Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin).
- Remuneration: Global package around €33,000 depending on your profile.
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
