Tech Lead E-commerce - Shopify - M/F

The company being supported in its permanent contract (CDI) recruitment: Join a large international agency, a leader in consulting and marketing technologies, backed by a major global group leading in digital transformation, data, and digital experiences. This structure brings together several hundred employees in France and supports major brands in the design, evolution, and optimization of their e-commerce platforms and omnichannel ecosystems.

The missions / roles

You will join a Tech & Digital BU recognized for its expertise in complex e-commerce projects, with a strong focus on Shopify, cloud architectures, and multi-solution environments. The position operates in a strategic context with several major international projects underway: migration of legacy e-commerce platforms to Shopify, optimization of highly customized digital ecosystems, omnichannel topics, and high-volume architectures.

Your responsibilities include notably:

• Leading high-stakes international e-commerce projects, particularly complex migrations to Shopify and the evolution of omnichannel platforms for major brands
• Defining technical directions and supporting architecture choices across various environments: SaaS, open source, PHP, cloud, or highly customized solutions
• Providing your fullstack expertise on immersive and high-performance React front-end topics as well as on backend, integration, and scalability issues
• Providing technical supervision to development teams, structuring best practices, and contributing to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines (Git, Docker…)
• Participating in pre-sales, scoping, and technical audit phases with clients alongside consulting and delivery teams

Profile:

This position requires solid experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Developer on complex, high-traffic e-commerce projects.

Prerequisites:

• Good mastery of Shopify, React, and modern web architectures, with a global vision of front, backend, and cloud
• Comfortable in multi-technology contexts: PHP, JavaScript, API, CI/CD, Docker, AWS or GCP
• Ability to technically lead projects, challenge architecture choices, and support technical teams
• Good interpersonal skills, a consulting posture, and an interest in innovative environments blending technology, business, and digital experience
