Its technology is an intelligent system for managing and optimizing materials in manufacturing environments, helping factories reduce costs, limit their environmental impact, and more broadly integrate second-life materials into their production chains. Winner of several national innovation awards, this company is experiencing strong growth and is opening its Lyon agency in early 2026 to address the Grand Est of France, Switzerland, and Benelux. To support this strategic development, it is recruiting a Business Developer on a CDI basis, a role combining the management of industrial digital projects, client support, business development, and the structuring of a local team.

Missions:

Pre-sales and business expertise:

  • Qualify industrial environments, analyze needs, and validate the value created by the solution (supply chain process, production, logistical flows...).
  • Build the associated deployment methodology, participate in product demonstrations, and support sales teams.
  • Contribute to technical scoping: SaaS integration, API, cloud, data management, and operational resilience.
  • Have a good knowledge of the IT world.

Agency development and commercial actions:

  • Build and manage the regional development plan in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.
  • Identify and prospect industrial players in the territory (innovative SMEs, mid-caps, large groups) committed to sustainable transformation.
  • Highlight the benefits related to material optimization and decarbonization, develop proposals, and follow through on their realization.
  • Represent the company within regional networks and events (industrial clusters, trade fairs, innovation...).
  • Structure and manage the Lyon agency: progressive recruitment, team management, operational management.

Profile:

You combine business vision, solid industrial culture, and operational excellence in the deployment of digital solutions.

  • Engineering degree, business school, or university equivalent.
  • 8 to 15 years of experience in managing industrial transformation projects, supply chain, production, lean management, flow engineering, or B2B business development in industry/industrial technologies.
  • Proven experience in the integration and implementation of industrial information systems (ERP, MES, GPAO, data platforms, BI...).
  • Good mastery of digital environments: SaaS, API, Cloud, cybersecurity, RGPD, industrial resilience.

  • Natural leadership, sense of teamwork, and the ability to grow a local team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a taste for field work.
  • Strong results orientation, rigor, and autonomy.

Working conditions

  • Salary: 55,000 to 75,000 € / year fixed for the expected profile
  • Remote: 2 days / week after the probation period
