Hitachi Storage Engineer

Your tasks

• Hitachi storage architecture
• Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc)
• Storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async
• Hitachi Global Active Device
• Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM etc
• Brocade switch and fabric (zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging etc)
• Basic knowledge of VMware, OS(AIX/Windows/Linux)
• Basic scripting knowledge

• Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Incident management and change management process knowledge.
• Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background
• Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Hitachi storage architecture and products

• Experience with storage replication and high availability solutions

• Familiarity with Brocade SAN switches

• Basic scripting skills

• Good understanding of VMware and OS storage integration

• Strong analytical, planning, and execution skills

• Experience in project handling and management

• Initiative-driven with systematic approach
