EARLY MORNING ROUTE DRIVER

New Liskeard *Kirkland Lake * Timmins

*Express Parcel Est. 2024 Ltd.* is looking for a reliable and experienced driver to join our team for *early morning multi-stop delivery routes* throughout Northern Ontario.

The Position

Routes depart at approximately *3:00 a.m.* and service areas including:

  • New Liskeard
  • Kirkland Lake
  • Timmins

This is a *multi-stop delivery position*, requiring a driver who is comfortable with early starts, long-distance northern driving, and making multiple customer deliveries and pickups throughout the route.

Requirements

  • Valid *Ontario G Driver's Licence* required
  • *DZ Licence preferred*
  • *Clean driver's abstract required*
  • Minimum *3 years of Northern Ontario driving experience*
  • Experience with multi-stop delivery routes is an asset
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and manage a route efficiently
  • Comfortable driving in Northern Ontario and varying weather conditions
  • Must have a strong commitment to safe driving practices

Duties

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight, packages, and heavy equipment across designated routes
  • Load and unload cargo , ensuring secure handling of all items
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal vehicle performance
  • Utilize GPS and route planning tools to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Verify delivery documentation, obtain signatures, and update delivery logs accurately
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the vehicle and delivery area at all times

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
