Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and secondary research) to understand exhibitor and visitor needs, preferences, and pain points.

Monitor global trends in exhibitions, trade shows, and virtual event technologies; assess their impact on Expolink’s portfolio.

Track competitor activities – pricing, positioning, programming, and partnerships – and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with business development, Export Development teams to identify new market segments, geographies, and verticals for future events and services.

Conduct feasibility studies for new show concepts and expansion initiatives, delivering clear ROI projections and risk assessments.

Build and maintain a central market intelligence repository (databases, dashboards, and reports) accessible to key decision-makers.

Develop regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as attendee satisfaction, lead quality, and market penetration.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, visually compelling format.

Manage relationships with external research agencies, industry associations, and data providers to supplement in-house capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in market research, business intelligence, or strategic consulting, preferably within the events, exhibitions, media, or B2B services industry.

Proficiency in survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics), data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Excel), and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Strong understanding of digital analytics (Google Analytics, social listening tools) and experience integrating online/offline data sources.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills – able to translate complex data into clear strategic narratives.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
