Your mission at Expliseat: As a Design Drafter, you play an essential role in transforming engineering concepts into precise, industrializable 3D models that comply with our customers' requirements. You will intervene across the entire design cycle: 3D modeling, mechanisms, functionalities, drafting, and technical documentation. You will work primarily under SolidWorks and our internal PLM, based on:

Instructions from engineers,

Functional diagrams,

Faceted bodies from simulation software,

And by integrating industrial constraints from about ten different manufacturing processes.

In this capacity, you will undertake the following missions: 1) 3D Mechanical Design – SolidWorks

Perform the design of mechanisms and components (5 to 10 references / month).

Integrate constraints of manufacturability, mass, cost, and maintenance.

Design seat assemblies by integrating designed components.

Work in direct interaction with the engineers of the Bureau d’Études.

Propose innovative solutions while taking into account multi-process industrial constraints.

2) Drafting, drawing, and dimensioning

Produce standardized drawings: parts, sub-assemblies, assembly instructions.

Apply an internal checklist of design rules and best practices.

Master dimensional tolerances, ISO, and dimension chains.

3) Aircraft cabin plans (integrated or evolving mission)

Establish dimensions, layout, and seat placement.

Take into account constraints: cabin environment, regulations, customer specifications.

Produce a standardized synthetic drawing of the proposed layout. Your profile:

Bac+2/3 degree in product design or university equivalent.

Proven experience in industrial drawing and mechanical design.

Excellent mastery of SolidWorks, modeling + assemblies + drafting.

Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, composites, plastics, etc.).

Rigor, autonomy, analytical spirit, and ability to propose solutions.

Previous experience in functional dimensioning and dimension chains.

Ability to work in a team within a multidisciplinary environment.

Intermediate level English (spoken and written)
