At Expliseat, we are reinventing the way people travel. Since 2012, our patented ultralight aircraft seats have been lightening aircraft, reducing fuel consumption, and limiting CO₂ emissions. With more than 10,000 seats already in flight all over the world, we are the leader in ultralight seats for regional aviation and we are accelerating in the short-haul segment. Our mission? To combine performance, comfort, and positive environmental impact. Join a passionate team where innovation, agility, and audacity are at the heart of every project, and contribute to decarbonizing the mobility of tomorrow ✈️. Your mission at Expliseat: 1) Organize and manage the transport of sensitive and strategic flows

  • Plan and coordinate the transport (air, road, sea) of production parts, certification seats, and commercial mock-ups, both in France and internationally.
  • Select carriers and service providers adapted to each type of flow (urgency, fragility, value, regulatory sensitivity).
  • Monitor the execution of transport from end to end and anticipate unforeseen events (delays, breaks in load, calendar constraints related to test campaigns or trade shows).
  • Act as the primary contact for the Certification, Design Office, and Sales teams to define transport needs in advance.

2) Manage import/export customs formalities

  • Compile and verify customs files (declarations, tariff classification, customs values, accompanying documents) for all flows, including special regimes (temporary admission, ATA Carnet for commercial mock-ups and certification equipment).
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of shipments with regard to French, European, and destination country regulations.
  • Act as the contact person for freight forwarders, customs brokers, and administrations (French and foreign customs).
  • Monitor regulatory developments that could impact the company's export/import flows.

3) Ensure the reliability and optimization of transport & customs processes

  • Participate in the structuring and continuous improvement of internal procedures for transport management and customs formalities.
  • Ensure budget monitoring of transport and customs services under your responsibility (quotes, invoicing, carrier disputes).

Your profile: You have training in transport, logistics, or international trade, and can demonstrate a successful first experience in a similar position, ideally in a demanding industrial environment (aerospace, automotive, or a highly technical sector). You master the fundamentals of customs regulations (tariff classification, customs regimes, incoterms) and ideally have initial experience managing ATA Carnets or temporary admission regimes. Rigorous and organized, you know how to manage several complex files in parallel, in a context of varied flows and sometimes tight deadlines. Your interpersonal skills allow you to be an effective contact both internally and with freight forwarders and customs administrations. Proficiency in English is essential to operate in this international environment.
