For an innovative company in the field of electrical connection technology, we are looking for a Project Manager Digital Transformation (m/f/d) at the Windsbach location near Nuremberg.

The position is to be filled as part of a recruitment process.

Your tasks:

• Planning, implementation, and optimization of automation processes
• Execution of investment projects in coordination with the technical management
• Technical support for product lines and assistance with malfunctions (focus on control technology)
• Projects in software development for production systems and shopfloor management
• Introduction of machine monitoring systems with regard to Industry 4.0 integration
• Support and implementation of digitalization projects
• Support in the introduction of an MES system at the Windsbach plant
• Commissioning and service assignments for plant optimization at all relevant locations
• Creation and management of technical documentation
• Collaboration in ensuring and implementing corresponding standards in the areas of occupational safety, ergonomics, as well as quality and environmental protection

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on automation, electrical engineering, digitalization, or a comparable field
• Alternatively, completed technical training with corresponding further training as a technician or master
• Several years of professional experience in control and drive technology as well as sound knowledge in handling PLC systems
• Extensive experience in the areas of visualization, programming, and microcontroller technology
• Confident handling of common IT applications such as MS Office and SAP
• Good English skills for international exchange as well as field service assignments
• Good technical understanding of processes in cable manufacturing
• Independent and reliable way of working, complemented by strong communication skills and pronounced teamwork abilities
• High customer orientation as well as a professional appearance
