Northern Lights Guide

We are looking for energetic and customer-service-oriented tour guides for the 2026-2027 winter season for our tourism company, Experience Tours, operating in Rovaniemi. We offer a unique opportunity to work in the stunning landscapes of Lapland, where you will get to share unforgettable experiences with travelers from all over the world!

Job duties

Your main task will be to act as a northern lights guide on excursions primarily focused on evenings and nights. On these trips, you will guide customers, tell stories about the nature and culture of Lapland, and ensure a safe and experiential journey.

Additionally, the work includes small group day trips, for example, to national parks, where you will guide customers in various outdoor activities. The work is varied and includes customer service, participating in excursion planning, and ensuring the safety of the groups.

What we expect from you

-A B-category driver's license and good driving skills, as you will drive customers to excursion destinations, sometimes for long distances in winter conditions. -Fluent English, as our customers are mainly international travelers. Other language skills (e.g., French, Spanish, or Chinese) are an advantage. -Enthusiasm to work in the evenings and at night. -A customer-service mindset, a positive attitude, and the ability to act in varying situations.
