Pagveloz is looking for a Payment Methods Manager to lead the strategy, operation, and expansion of the company's payment solutions portfolio (cards, PIX, boleto, digital wallets, and other means). The professional will be responsible for ensuring performance, security, and regulatory compliance of operations, as well as conducting negotiations with acquirers, card schemes, and financial partners. Responsibilities Define and execute the payment methods strategy aligned with business objectives; manage relationships with acquirers, sub-acquirers, card schemes, banks, and other payment partners; monitor performance indicators (approval rate, chargeback, cost per transaction, reconciliation); lead initiatives for cost reduction and conversion improvement in checkout flows; ensure adherence to regulatory standards (Banco Central, PCI-DSS, LGPD) and anti-fraud; coordinate internal squads (product, technology, risk, and finance) in new payment methods projects; manage the area's budget and contracts with suppliers; monitor market trends and innovations in the payments sector.
Higher education in Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related areas; Experience in payment methods, acquiring, fintechs, or financial institutions; experience negotiating contracts with acquirers/card schemes; Knowledge of Banco Central regulation regarding payments and payment arrangements; Experience in managing teams and multidisciplinary projects; mastery of financial and operational indicators of the sector (MDR, TEF, reconciliation, chargeback); Intermediate/advanced English. Differentials Experience with PIX, open finance, or digital wallets; Experience in high transactional scale environments; Certifications in project management or financial products.
