The consultants of the Supply Department offer you career opportunities. We are looking for an Charterer / Operator (M/F) on behalf of our client, an international transport group.

Your tasks

Reporting to the Chartering Manager, your role is to manage your client portfolio in compliance with the quality, procedures, and rules in force at DHL Freight. Responsible for carrying out freight transport trading operations, your main missions are to:

• Negotiate and organize domestic transport services, ensuring complete management of client files;
• Identify, select, and manage service providers to guarantee quality, security, and compliance with deadlines;
• Propose optimized operational solutions and support clients with their logistical needs;
• Manage a mixed activity comprising -60% chartering and 40% operations, including operational monitoring and field coordination of drivers;
• Ensure the daily operation of 2 vehicles in the owned fleet, including planning, driver monitoring, and profitability optimization, and contribute to the development of this fleet.

Requirements

With a Bac+2 degree in transport, you have 3 years of experience as a charterer. You demonstrate operational mastery of road transport activities: management of transport plans, margin optimization, client/partner relations, social compliance, and security. You have good interpersonal skills, show adaptability when dealing with different stakeholders, and are recognized for your negotiation skills. Finally, a very good level of English is required.

This position, based in SAINGHIN EN MELANTOIS, is available as part of an evolving 6-month mission. The gross annual remuneration is to be negotiated according to your experience.
