Process Technician (Technician - Mechanical Engineering (without specialization)/Bachelor Professional in Technology)

For our location in Bad Lauterberg, we are looking for, as soon as possible, a

Process Technician (m/f/d)

About the position:

You will report to the Technical Manager and are responsible for the analysis and optimization of the plant's production processes.

Your daily tasks in this role:

• Analysis and optimization of production processes
• Determination of key figures to describe process capability in production
• Implementation of measures for process optimization, reduction of scrap and complaints
• Development of work instructions
• Cooperation with central departments (e.g., EU Process Engineering, R&D, QM) as well as with other production sites
• Participation in and leadership of product and process evaluations
• Handling of investment and Change Request projects
• Conducting trials (effect of changing process and product parameters)
• Active participation in working groups for problem solving and application of problem-solving techniques (8D; FMEA; Six-Sigma tools)
• Leading developments to series maturity
• Performing measurement system analyses and statistical evaluations
• Supplier and third-party company coordination

What we require:

• Successfully completed technician training or vocational training with further training as a technician in the fields of mechanical engineering, chemistry, or process engineering
• Basic knowledge in the implementation of Lean Production, ideally with SixSigma, 8D, FMEA and statistical process control (SPC)
• Initial experience in project management
• English skills in speaking and writing as well as good MS Office skills
• Creativity, commitment and flexibility
• Operative and analytical approach
• Independent, analytical and solution-oriented approach
• Responsible, committed and very well organized
• Decisive, convincing, assertive and socially competent personality
• Strong communication skills and presentation skills
