About the company
We are a Chicken Restaurant chain and are starting an ambitious expansion project in Mexico City: opening 5 or more branches in the next 24 months, building a profitable, efficient operation prepared to continue growing.
Your tasks
WHAT WILL YOUR CHALLENGE BE? You will begin by directly leading the opening and operation of our first branch. As the project progresses, you will have to develop teams, train managers, and establish an operating system that allows for replicating results in new units.
These are the results we expect from you 4 to 5 branches opened in 24 months, meeting operation, quality, and service standards.
Restaurants operating profitably, with control over sales, costs, inventories, shrinkage, and productivity.
Efficient work teams and managers capable of directing their branches and meeting their indicators.
Standardized operating processes that allow for maintaining quality and efficiency as the chain grows.
Openings executed according to established budgets and schedules.
This position requires you to be directly involved in the operation, especially during the first openings. You will have to solve problems, make decisions, and achieve results, not just direct from an office.
Requirements
To achieve this, we are looking for an OPERATIONS AND EXPANSION GENERAL MANAGER with verifiable experience in the restaurant sector, who enjoys challenges and is capable of turning an expansion project into concrete results.
We are not looking for someone who only supervises restaurants. We are looking for someone who knows how to open them, make them work, and lead them to profitability.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO TAKE ON THIS CHALLENGE? Minimum 5 years of experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR) or casual dining.
At least 3 years directing multiple units, such as Regional Manager, District Manager, or Operations Director.
Having directly led at least 2 restaurant openings.
Experience in franchises or chains with audited operating standards.
Mastery of profitability indicators, P&L, food cost, inventories, labor costs, and productivity.
Experience forming teams and developing branch managers.
It is desirable to have studies in Administration, Business, Gastronomy, or related careers, as well as experience in fried chicken restaurants or high-volume kitchens.
Most importantly: That you can demonstrate with facts the results you have achieved.
We want to know how many branches you have opened, which operations you have directed, how you have improved their profitability, and what results you have achieved with your teams.
