Systems Design and Validation Engineer M/F Position based in Figeac (46)

Within a Design Office, you will work on the development of complex systems with high technical stakes. You will contribute to the definition of the architecture, sizing, as well as the validation of systems in demanding environments. Integrated into a systems team, you will actively participate in the upstream and development phases. In this capacity, you will take part in system architecture choices, contribute to the writing of technical specifications, and ensure requirement tracking throughout the life cycle. You will also intervene in the functional allocation and sizing of multi-domain components (hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical). You will be involved in integration and validation activities, in close link with project and testing teams. You will define testing strategies, write plans and procedures, and participate in the design of testing means (specimens and tooling). You will then ensure the monitoring of testing campaigns, from their setup to their execution, and then exploit the results through technical analysis and expertise activities. You will formalize your work via test reports and technical notes. In parallel, you will contribute to supplier monitoring and project management, guaranteeing the technical consistency of developments. You will also provide in-service support for existing systems and actively participate in obsolescence management, in a logic of sustainability and continuous improvement.

A graduate of an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 2 years of professional experience in systems engineering or complex systems development. You have knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, as well as in servo systems, allowing you to operate in a demanding multi-physics environment. Recognized for your rigor and analytical spirit, you are capable of handling complex technical issues and contributing effectively to development, validation, and testing activities. You enjoy teamwork and know how to interact with various stakeholders, particularly in the context of supplier monitoring and cross-functional projects. You will work in an international environment: therefore, a fluent professional level of English is indispensable, both written and spoken (meetings, technical exchanges, documentation). International travel is to be expected as part of testing, project monitoring, and interactions with partners.
