As part of a long-term mission for a client in the aeronautics sector, we are looking for:

a Buyer M/F Position based in Bourges (18)

Your main mission: reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you select suppliers and negotiate the best purchasing conditions (quality, price, lead times) with them, in compliance with the specifications entrusted to you.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing needs, defining the provisional budget, and drafting specifications with internal stakeholders (BE, quality, production, R&D, supply chain.)
• Ensuring permanent market monitoring and searching for suppliers and products
• Launching consultations and RFQ, qualifying offers, and conducting negotiations (price, quality, lead time, volume)
• Drafting contracts and managing their proper execution, managing any disputes
• Monitoring the purchasing budget, activity reporting, and risk analyses
• Evaluating supplier performance (KPI, rating) and internal customer satisfaction

Profile sought

Holding a BAC+2 in purchasing or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience as a buyer in the industrial sector and are proficient in English, both written and spoken. You are familiar with purchasing process techniques, from portfolio segmentation to spend analysis (Pareto, Kraljic), including conducting consultations and negotiation techniques. You also know how to manage supplier relationships over the long term through audits and performance dashboards. Possessing good interpersonal skills, you know how to create a climate of trust and cooperation with both internal and external interlocutors, while knowing how to defend your objectives in a win-win logic. Your sense of organization and rigor allow you to prioritize your tasks and ensure the reliability of your daily actions. Curious and reactive, you know how to adapt to market evolutions. Finally, sensitive to cost reduction as well as CSR, life cycle, and decarbonization issues, you uphold these values in each of your purchasing decisions.
