We have been in a period of hyper-growth since our second fundraising round, amounting to 60 million dollars, in May 2018. More than two million users train every month on our platform.

OpenClassrooms is looking for a Legal Apprentice for its Legal & Compliance Department who will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company and be in direct contact with OpenClassrooms customers.

Apprenticeship position to be filled as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be integrated into a dynamic and experienced team.

Within the Legal & Compliance Department of OpenClassrooms, the proposed missions are as follows:

• Legal analysis, and drafting of legal notes in both French and English.
• Drafting legal documents (termination letters, non-disclosure agreements, drafting of deeds, etc.).
• Assistance in the drafting, negotiation, and monitoring of all types of contracts or legal deeds related to the company's governance.
• Legal and administrative formalities related to these activities.
• Assistance on education law issues.
• Assistance in the deployment of the GDPR compliance program.
• Legal monitoring and research (current legislation, bills, case law...).
• Preparing newsletters, reports, and PowerPoint presentations as needed.

Job requirements

• Higher education level: 3rd cycle / Master 2 in Law, with a specialization in NTIC and intellectual property.
• Mastery of the provisions of the "Informatique et Libertés" Law and the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Fluent/bilingual English level.
• Having a first experience in a law firm and/or in the legal department of a company constitutes an advantage.
• Mastery of IT tools (G Suite, Word, Excel, Power Point).

Required qualities:

• Rigor, organization, initiative-taking
• Writing skills, analytical and synthesis abilities
• Availability, reactivity, solidarity, good mood, desire to learn and support
• Knowledge of the online training environment would be a plus

Contract duration

12 months
