Senior IT Analyst
For our client in the insurance industry, we are looking for a person for the Senior IT Analyst position, responsible for conducting business analysis for a newly designed system dealing with the distribution of PUSH messages to Customers.
Location: Warsaw (hybrid model) β services provided from the territory of Poland
About the project:
The project concerns the analysis and clarification of requirements for a new system responsible for the distribution of PUSH notifications to customers. The Consultant is responsible for preparing complete analytical documentation supporting the organization in the effective implementation of the MVP β from business requirements, through process models, to integrations between systems.

Daily tasks
- Conducting business analysis and clarifying requirements necessary for project implementation
- Preparing a detailed backlog
- Developing analytical documentation covering business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories along with acceptance criteria
- Preparing diagrams and models representing business processes, data flows, and integrations between systems
- Clarifying the functional scope of the MVP and identifying elements remaining out of scope
- Documenting key project assumptions
- Analyzing required integrations and defining business rules consistent with the designed solution
- Identifying risks, ambiguous areas, and issues requiring business or architectural decisions, and preparing recommendations for further actions
- Close cooperation with business stakeholders, architects, and project teams
Requirements
MUST HAVE requirements:
- Higher education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an analyst role in a development team, including at least 2 years in the insurance industry (or financial industry)
- Ability to model processes (e.g., UML, user story mapping)
- Ability to document requirements (e.g., BPMN)
- Knowledge and experience working in Agile and Scrum
- Ability to converse freely with stakeholders to elicit requirements (functional and non-functional) and decompose them to the level of specification for changes in IT systems
- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and issues related to data modeling
- Knowledge of basic concepts related to the object-oriented programming paradigm and basic data processing methods: batch processing/workqueue, messaging/queues
- Knowledge of system integration patterns (synchronous and asynchronous)
- Knowledge of JSON and schema-avro
- Knowledge of the documentation as a code concept
- Knowledge of English at B1/B2 level (reading documentation, communication with vendors)
- Providing services from the territory of Poland
- Readiness to work in a hybrid model in Warsaw
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience as an analyst leader / senior analyst
- Ability to design graphical user interfaces in Figma
- Knowledge of basic UX/UI concepts
- Certifications: IREB Advanced, BABOK (CBAP) or others in the field of systems analysis
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements: RODO/GDPR, Solvency II, DORA
