Release Manager
As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for planning and effectively executing the deployment of new versions of the Bank's applications and technological platforms. Your goal will be to ensure the highest quality of delivered solutions, compliance with company standards, and the secure conduct of deployments. You will collaborate with many stakeholders, including other Release Managers, Test Managers, Product Owners, Execution Leads, Scrum Masters, and operational teams, to ensure the secure and successful delivery of changes.

Daily tasks
- Coordinating, planning, and maintaining release roadmaps for one or several applications.
- Planning deployments and coordinating multiple parallel releases.
- Planning go-live activities and post-deployment activities.
- Planning, coordinating, and monitoring activities related to changes throughout the entire release management process.
- Conducting release decision-making meetings to obtain stakeholder approval for subsequent deployment stages.
- Planning and organizing knowledge transfer and responsibility handover sessions from development teams to operational teams.
- Increasing the quality and efficiency of the deployment process by utilizing new techniques, automation, and DevOps practices in the area of release orchestration.
Requirements
IT project management and planning skills (minimum 5 years of experience). Experience in the area of Release Management or Deployment Management, preferably in the banking sector. Experience working with incident, problem, and change management tools and processes in accordance with the ITIL framework. Confidence in working with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Experience in applying Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices. Basic knowledge of working methods consistent with the DevOps approach. Very good communication skills and basic technical knowledge allowing for collaboration with development teams and the creation and validation of deployment runbooks. Desire to work with one of the market-leading release orchestration tools and to create automated deployment pipelines with the support of technical experts. Higher education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in IT or a related field. Excellent networking and interpersonal skills. Analytical approach and very good coordination and planning skills. Attention to detail while maintaining a broad perspective, enabling the fulfillment of your own commitments and dependencies towards other individuals and teams. Responsibility, proactivity, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Flexibility and readiness to work additional, paid evening and weekend hours during deployments. Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies. Technical approach and mindset. Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
