For our Client from pharmaceutical industry we are looking for People Manager - Tech Delivery Poland!

Location: 100% remotely from Poland

Join ADI R&D Tech Delivery and lead our growing technology organisation in Poland, combining people leadership, local hub ownership, engineering excellence, and close partnership with teams across R&D.

What you will be doing

As People Manager you will lead and develop a diverse group of software, data, cloud, DevOps, quality, validation, and business technology professionals. You will create the conditions for people to succeed while ensuring that the Poland organisation provides strong, scalable, and cost-effective capabilities to R&D digital products and programmes.

Daily tasks

  • Own workforce planning and the end-to-end local employee and consultant lifecycle, including recruitment, candidate screening, onboarding, allocation, development, feedback, contract extensions, transitions, and offboarding.
  • Lead, coach, and develop colleagues in Poland, supporting career growth, and fostering engagement, psychological safety, accountability, and an inclusive team culture.
  • Build partnerships with product, engineering, architecture, validation, and business leaders to match capabilities with priorities and enable effective delivery across distributed teams.
  • Strengthen engineering and operational excellence through modern software practices
  • Develop the Poland IT Hub as a connected professional community through knowledge sharing, office activities, local communication, employer branding, and collaboration across organizational areas.
  • Manage local suppliers and commercial relationships, including rate benchmarking and negotiation, while supporting transparent chargeback, capacity, and cost planning.
  • Provide local guidance on Polish working conditions and the compliant engagement of external consultants, acting as an escalation point and partnering with relevant legal, procurement, HR, and finance functions.
  • Contribute actively to the ADI R&D Tech Delivery leadership agenda and translate strategic priorities into clear goals, decisions, and execution for the Poland organization.

Requirements

An academic background in a relevant field e.g. Computer Science, Engineering or Business 3+ years of leadership experience from a similar role Experience in navigating in large organizations and working with distributed teams Experience supporting a lean-agile transformation through personal advocacy, engagement, and leadership Background within software development
